Very nice place for a trip. The restaurant and cafe were closed, but you could buy hot drinks and cakes outside. Toilets were very clean.

A very nice gondola that can save you hours of climbing. It is great that you are only put in a gondola with your fellow passengers. Especially now in Corona times top. The ride is complemented with a great view when the weather is nice. A return trip costs 13 euros for an adult - so that's okay. A visit is highly recommended 👍

Always a great experience to go up by train. A wonderful view, when it's not very foggy. Even with children, worth a great experience.

Well known cable car. Price of € 13 for adults for ascent and descent is okay. The cable car doesn't go too fast, nobody needs to be afraid here. You can take good pictures of the view in the wagons. However, we would have hoped for more from this one at the mountain station. You can get a slightly better view on a 20-minute hike to the observation tower. There is self-service in the outdoor area of ​​the mountain station, there is only tarte flambée and cake. On the terrace over there and inside there is a restaurant.

Very well organized. Clean and well-kept area. Waiting time manageable. Price reasonable. Positive corona side effect: as a couple, you have a gondola to yourself. For almost 20 minutes, no other people with loud voices, with dogs or with complaining children.

Taking the train is really fun. The drive up to the Schauinsland takes about 1/4 hour and the journey is very quiet.

Get there early, you have to queue and a gondola handling takes 2.5 minutes. So when the coaches come and people are standing on the street, you should take food with you. Nice experience, the train journey and the views in good weather top

The scenery is beautiful. You can plan for a half a day if its just the cable car and tower.

Nice place even when it rains. The ride on the cable car is very quiet. Lots of nature and paths to walk. You feel very comfortable in coffee. The service is very friendly and not intrusive. The restaurant is very spacious and invites you to linger in its winter garden. Since we were only here when it was raining, the view was not that great, but when the sun is shining and the view is clear, a visit is always worthwhile.

Definitely worth a visit and excursion! Several parking spaces on site. Price for adults, ascent and descent 13 €, which is perfectly fine. You have reached the top within 16 minutes and are rewarded with a fabulous and breathtaking view.

The ride is a great experience in nature, the cafe on the top has a very beautiful view where you could take pictures showing the city view. You could also hike to a higher place where you could climb the stairs to a higher tower. There is also a nearby mining museum. The price of the ride could be covered with the Welcome Card of Freiburg.
